Hi!

I’m David. I’m a senior technical product manager at The Washington Post where I work on product strategy for our Election coverage.

Previously at The Post, I lead the product strategy and execution for a complete rebuild of the Recipes product line. I have a passion for news, a background in engineering, and love bringing people together to create incredible user experiences.

Before joining The Post, I studied computer science and creative writing at Northwestern University where I graduated with honors and was the recipient of the Mary Kinzie Prize for poetry. I was also the captain of Northwestern’s triathlon team.

In my free time, I train for marathons and ultramarathons, eat a lot, backpack the national parks, and go on a lot of long road trips. I also still write some fiction.

I also work on other random things in my free time. Some of them are on the internet. All of these things were designed and developed by me.
